Come glisten with us!
Join Elisabeth in dance class and learn about the serpentine movements, the music and rhythms and the culture and histories of the people and places where belly dance and Middle Eastern dances have come from. You’ll also work all your muscles to build core strength, flexibility, agility and grace.
Who can join dance class?
Every body can dance and every body can join us in class, regardless of age, size or background—no previous dance experience required. Parents are welcome to bring their children to join class as well, in line with studio policies.
What should I wear?
Come wearing leggings or yoga pants, a top that allows you to see your line, and bring something to wrap around your hips such as a scarf. You don’t need to expose your belly and no special shoes are needed—we primarily dance barefoot. Since we dance on hardwood floor, if your feet could use additional support, you can wear jazz shoes or soft sole ballet slippers.
